Xbox 360 USB Problem

I was playing a game earlier today when my house was hit with a power surge. The 360 started flashing the red rings, so I shut it off. I waited a little bit, turned it back on and it powered up fine. However I noticed that the HD DVD player nor my camera came on. The 360 doesn't recognize them at all. I know they work because I hooked them up to my computer. I also tried plugging a USB drive into one of the ports, but it didn't show up. Anyone know of a fix besides sending it to Microsoft? They want $99 for the repairs.

Well, I did some more searching since the problem happened. Apparently all you have to do is simply unplug the console, then plug it back in and all is fine. It's funny because that is the one thing that I didn't do. Hope this helps others with the same problem.
