Does anyone here have any information on who I could contact to track down a Sega part number? I have a bad part on a Nomad and can't make out what it is. The part on the board is labled TR201

Can you provide a pic of the part?

Not at the moment but I believe it's a SOT-223 surface mount package. I think it may be some kind of voltage regulator.

This is more or less what it looks like although it might be marked 106 or 108...it's hard to see. The shorter leads aren't connected and the big ones are soldered together. They look like they should be suppling + voltage to the backlight which my nomad isn't getting. When I bypass this chip by shorting dirrectly from + on the battery to that part of the circuit the whole thing works fine(It does nothing otherwise) I'm tempted to just solder in a wire but I'm sure this chip is there for a reason and would hate to burn anything else up.
