This should really go in the "What's it Worth" forum...

Anyway, that's pretty much the standard price. If you look, he's got 8 of those sets available. Even though those games are supposed to be pretty rare you can almost always find a sealed complete set on ebay for about $75. Awhile ago somebody (or bodies) found a bunch of pallets of these things, and they've slowly been leaking them to ebay ever since, thus killing the rarity of them, but bringing the price down considerably at the same time. It hasn't really gone down much in the past couple years though (that I've noticed), so if you really want one you might as well jump on it.

I believe that "somebody" was Mike Etler, famous for his ancient rarity guide and for finding the stash of Cheetamen II games. Anyway, in my opinion this is too high. Not too long ago someone was selling these sets of sealed Aladdin games for $38 I think, I wouldn't pay more than $50-$60 for the set.

Ouch. I paid $125 for my set 5-6 years ago, but that's when they were usually selling for $200+. Around the same time I did manage to score 2 sealed Cheetamen 2's for $25 each, so I guess that evened things out. :-P

Mike Etler had BOTH in stock for years.

I had a chance to buy these Aladdins (not from Etler) but he had thousands of them. I wasn't sure there would be that many buyers so I passed on the deal. This is that seller or someone who bought them from him.

These aren't going anywhere anytime soon. There are just too many.

I'd pay that much for a US SMB/DH boxed. ;)
