I spend about $10 a month on XBLA, though I plan on using the movie download service more these next few months, so I'm giving myself an allowance of $25 a month.

Well...lessee...
I've not yet used my first full Wii Points card, and I've had my system a little over a year...so VC = just over $1 a month.
XBLA probably would equal $20 / month if my financial situation would have stayed more stable this past 6 months. I have a feeling with Rock Band, that may probably rise. As it was, my average is around $10 / month.
I don't use PSN.

Quite a bit. Translating from £ to $ it comes out at just over $25 for this past month, and I know I've gone above that in the past. :-/

I've spent, like, 200 points on Live, but those came free with my live kit, which I bought for the headset, so in the several months I've had access to XBL the answer would be $0.
I bought my Wii at launch, and in a little over a year I've purchased one TG16 game, one Genesis game, one SNES game, and one N64 game. My average monthly spending on VC is $2.46.

I've only purchased a small handful of titles on PSN since buying a PS3 in April...so... an average of ~$3 a month?

1600 points a month on live. I don't pay for Gold anymore because I hardly ever used it.

I've bought a few games on Live and regretted them all except Assault Heroes. So I don't buy such things anymore.
I did use a full Wii point card - on two TG16 shooters and S&P for the N64. All of which were super dumb purchases as I could buy both shooters on original Hu Cards for the same if not less, and S&P for about the same on original cart, not to mention I forgot I owned the damn game on my iQue. So no more overpriced VC purchases for me.
Don't own a PS3, but based on my experience with the others I won't be buying any games there, either. Too many good games I can buy in the original physical medium to toss money at electrons that can be rendered useless at the whims of the manufacturer.

As little as possible.
I'm very very stingy when it comes to spending points, mostly because I'm very attached to the concept of receiving something tangible (like a disc) when I pay for it.
Additionally I find many of the prices on these download services to be inflated. ($5 for SMB? Seriously?)

Yeah, but look at the general consensus of people who are Wii owners (you mention SMB, but this also works well for 360 owners). This is a whole videogame rediscovery and those games were fun/cool to play back then and 5 bucks isn't THAT bad to play them again. Especially because they are using the points thing, people don't put together as well that 500-800 points means that its $5-8 bucks.
I'm normally a not liking to buy online stuff at all unless its something thats actually unique to get. I really don't like buying stuff off iTunes for that reason. I like the actual CD.
I've had a Wii since day 1 and I just got a 2000 point card for xmas, of which I spent most of it on Sin and Punishment and Super Mario Bros 2 JPN version. Games I couldn't get here in America. Approxmately $1.53 a month spent on Wii's Virtual Console if i stretch it over the 13 months of ownership.
XBL i've had since its launch (5 years ago) as well so the 49 a year service fees and i've had the 360 XBL since December of last year. i'd say that i've probably dumped another 100 bucks (easy) on points for either new content, or XBL Arcade games. Thats not counting the 40 bucks worth of cards that I bought Katchoo for Xmas so she could get the extra Rock Band and GH3 songs that are now out.

Usually not much. Since I bought my wii 6 months ago I've spent about 100 bucks on VC downloads. 360 I never paid for any downloads until this month for rock band something like 50 bucks in downloads.

I tend to stay away from VC titles, because they are overpriced, and I already own a physical copy most of them. I think I've spent a total of maybe $20 on VC games, and I've had my Wii a little over a year now. Since they haven't started developing WiiWare titles yet, it's too early to tell, on that end.
On XBL, I spend anywhere from between $15-50 a month, depending on whats released. I'm pretty much done with the retro arcade games though. All the ones I loved, back in the day, have already been released.

Much like Diskoboy, I don't buy many VC games, simply because I already own physical copies of them (though I did make an exception for Sin & Punishment, simply because I wanted English menus instead of stumbling through Japanese). I mainly use VC for Genny or TG-16 games that I missed out on, since I never owned either of those systems.
I've had my Wii for about eight months or so... I guess it'd all average to about $6 a month.
I think I've spent a good 500 dollars on VC. I just don't know what to do with all that extra money. J/K
