Pretty much, I have an extra one of these sitting around. I have it, the hookups, and DooM. Wondering what a good eBay price to put it up for would be?

Any help?

Well, I bought one on ebay a few months ago with eight games for $25, so that may give you a good idea of the worth.

I had a complete, minty copy for sale a year ago. It barely scratched ten bucks.

Nobody likes the 32x, you're better off selling it in a forum or trading it. :(

Well, after digging around, I found a working Genny and CD combo to go with it. I can run by the local game store pretty soon and pick up the needed cables for about $15. What could I get for all three plus around 5 or so games?

... About $15.

You're just being cheeky now. A working Sega CD/genny goes for around 30 doesn't it? That's what I got for one on eBay less than a year ago anyway. I'd have to search the closed auctions to see what they do now, but I'm too lazy for that.

Why do you need to know a price a priori? Just put in enough shipping to cover your listing fees and start it at $.99. It'll definitely sell. If you'd rather keep it than sell it super cheap (which may or may not happen with a .99 start), then you are better off trying to sell for your asking price on a forum or Craigslist. Are there none of these that have finished recently? Aw, man, I just did a search and there are a whole ton of these that have finished recently that you could go look at. Search first, then come here and ask if you can't find any comps.

I now see that Kitsune's cheekiness is well-deserved!

Sorry, I just wanted some advice. I have a problem with ebay. I either A) put the beginning price too high and scare everyone off, or B) I start it out too low and get gypped. Really sorry, just asking for some opinions.

C) Take a class at your local community or junior college on eBay.

I wasn't being a dick on purpose. It's just that the Genesis doesn't seem to get much love on eBay. The system had a ton of great games, but most people these days don't care.

I apologize if my tone was rude.

Well, just to be helpful, I found a PERFECT MINT never used (but fucking opened) 32x CiB at a goodwill for $7. Held on to it for awhile then put it on ebay. I got a grand total of $56 for it. I put pics of it up here in the ebay threads and was told it was the most complete, minty-fresh new 32x they'd ever seen so...yeah.
