Thanks to Funco/Gamestops sale I picked up a couple of Power Pad games, Short Order/ Eggsplode, Super Team Games, Ath world, etc.
I was so excited, I would finally get to put the pad to use. Well after about 5 mins of playing I found my self-sitting on the floor trying to catch my breath. I thought I was going to die, well maybe not die but man was I hurting.
But about 10 mins later I found myself playing again and about 5 mins after that I was back on the floor.
There’s something about these games that keep making me play even though I’m going to give myself a heart attack.

So
What’s your limit on the old NES Power Pad?
Does anyone actualy use this thing on a regular basis?

I guess I know now why I found this thing in perfect condition in its box for $2

Well, I have 3 Powerpads (2 Nintendo, 1 Bandai version) and the Bandai version has never been taken out of its box since I got it a few years ago. The Nintendo ones remained in the Funcoland bag when I bought them (they were $4 4 or 5 years ago so I guess they were never popular at all)

If someone made DDR for NES that used power pad, I'd defiantly try to get in shape. Otherwise they'd just gather dust as a tiny and almost forgotten footnote in my collection.

I would use it a bit more but I need to go to the basement to use it.

Worried that you might bring down the house? LOL LOL I know the feeling,m the house I live in is well over 100 years old and if I were to use any power pad or DDR pad or anything that involves lots of jumping, I'd have to take it in the basement or outside.

Yup that was always the problem I had with the power pad, the complaints from the people in the apartment downstairs, that power pad caused me to sustain numerous ass kickings from my mommy because I thought I could be slick and run in place "like a feather"
