...and boy I was disappointed with that ending. I seriously thought NFS:MW had a bad ending but now it doesn't seem like a bad ending at all. Your crew doesn't congratulate you, Nikki doesn't say a word, where the heck Cross went, and you don't even get Darius' car in career mode. IMO, they should have made this game longer, they should have kept drag racing, added more cutscenes, more customization (including neon lights!! I did like autosculpt from this game.), and Nikki should have wore a more revealing outfit like Mia from NFS:MW. LOL

Anyways, those are my thoughts...what are yours?

Yea I thought it sucked compared to NFS Most Wanted it was alot longer compared to carbon.I played carbon & beat it then never played it again,no real replay value, even NFS MW I go back & try to get 100% completion & run a Level 5 chase against Cross every now in then. But Carbon was made way to easy IMO bottom line. I prob beat carbon in 1/5 the time compared to NFS MW.

Yeah, the game was really short, took me 4 days cuz I was playing other games. I bet if I was only play NFS Carbon, I would have beaten it in 2 days tops.

Nikki should have wore a more revealing outfit like Mia from NFS:MW.

I thought Nikki had just the right amount of sexiness. Video game women don't need extremely revealing outfits to look hot.*

Like most actresses whose resumes mostly consist of cable filler movies and shows, Emmanuelle Vaugier (who played Nikki) appeared in Maxim in 2006. You might want to look up those pictures.

I bought the Gamecube version of Carbon a while back but I haven't played it. I just got the PS2 version of ProStreet for Christmas so that's next on my NFS radar. I might play some Carbon in between if I need a break from ProStreet's formula, though.

I have played the DS Carbon game, though. If Mario Kart DS is getting old and you're looking for a racer with licensed vehicles, it's worth a look (stay away from the older NFS titles on the DS, though).

* - Plus it's nice to see Emmanuelle Vaugier doing something good for videogames after appearing in the House of the Dead 2 film. Oh wait, she's in Far Cry now. Damnit.

Carbon wasn't bad, but it was defintely lacking, and a good indicator of why they decided to revamp the formula for ProStreet.

Autosculpt was nice but too limited, and the story was shoddy and underdeveloped. But it kept the pursuits, which are (IMO) the one thing that kept the series going.

After I have just finished ProStreet I am about to start Carbon. I was hoping that there was a decent storyline to it but it sounds like it doesn't.

For those of you that haven't played ProStreet yet. It is a good game nothing to great though. Drag is back. Cut scenes are good (after awhile they are all the same). Ending, well lets just say that it is lacking any good ending but at least it has one unlike Forza 2.

Alright, so maybe if she took off the trench... LOL I noticed she is wearing the same outfit as the one before the whole police evasion.

i have the Wii version but haven't gotten too far into it... the control isn't very good. The actual drving isn't too bad, but when you add in the special abilites, calling in your teammate, etc. it gets too unwieldy. They really should have included an option to use the classic controller.

Oh man, I thought u had an option to use that or the gamecube controller. Good thing I didn't get it for the Wii. The game's $30 now for the 360 and idk what's the price of the PS2 version.
