Found this in a stack of old PSX games. Its a Rageball, but has DEMO ONLY on it, as well as Hollywood Video. The DEMO ONLY and Hollywood Video are actually printed along with the disc graphics. It also has a white sticky label on it with the location, store #, address, phone, etc. of the store where it used to be. Dont think it will be worth anything more than a regular Rageball, but just figured I would ask, as I haven't seen it around anywhere else :?

I had a Rollcage demo CD that was exactly like the one you have (well, without a sticker with the store details.) The demo was one track only, and contained one redbook audio music track as well.

Sounds interesting. I'm one of the resident demo collectors and would be interested in seeing it and perhaps buying it from you.

Oh, and by Rageball, I ment Rollcage :smash:

Now that I got the name right, I found some info on Google. Apparently, Hollywood Video had a month long contest in 1999 where if you rented 2 games, you got this demo free. It was one player, one car, one track. See how fast you could complete one lap, then it would give you code to enter online to load your time into the leaderboard. At the end of the month, they gave out prizes. Based on this, i would think that there are a quite a few of these out there. But the white label sticker, surely every one of these didn't have a label saying what store, address, etc it came from? The article also said that the stores were supposed to have a demo set up to play for the month long contest, maybe that explains the sticker?

Hahah, yeah, that's the same game I sold. One race track only, one music track only. :)

lol, is this the same one you got for Dangerboy? Once I got the name right I did some searches for it and noticed that you picked one up a couple years back. Did yours have the white label on it?

Yeah, that was it. Mine had no sticker on it. :)

I've never seen any other copy of it, so it might be relatively rare considering it was only distributed at Hollywood Video.
