I bought a loose copy of "M.c. Kids" today at Gamestop for $3, I have never heard of this game before now, can someone tell me what is up with it?

It's a rather difficult, very long platformer with pretty good graphics for its time and some really weird design ideas. Its length and challenge are such that it would greatly benefit from a battery-backed save system.

Not a favorite of mine, but still a decent NES platformer.

Btw: The same characters star in Mick & Mack: Global Gladiators for the Genesis, but the gameplay is completely different. I really dislike GG; way too Euro-trashy for my platforming tastes.

Excellent game... sureal... ****1/2 effort all the way. Not very rare, but you found a really fun game for what it's worth.

Yeah, MC Kids (Virgin, 1992), excellent game, one of my favorites, you can find a review in my site http://www.geocities.com/arquedigireviews/mckids.htm

Enjoy the game!

It's also called "McDonald Land" in Europe.

I also have some bootleg copy of a Famicom game for sale that stars Ronald McDonald in the game and it isn't MC Kids. Guess it must have been released just in Japan.

That's right, but only on the box and the label. The title screen just says M.C. Kids. I guess they were too lazy to change that.
