Here's that Cross Products dev system I found a couple of months ago. I'm selling it because it outputs video in PAL, so I can't use it to play games.

The details, along with tons of pictures, are listed in the auction page, but yeah. Sorry about the huge international shipping cost...

*sniff* so proud to see that little AV cable on its way out in the big wide world.

Really just writing to wish you luck and you might want to change your sig now, unless you need more ac adapters.

Hah! Dude, that reminds me. I still owe you for that cable. I promise I'll send you the list soon.

Man, that's a pretty cool system. You should just get a cheap PAL-NTSC converter if you want to keep it and that's all that's holding you back.

Then again, with a $750 BIN, if you can get it :)

I missed the story of you getting the system. How much did you pay for it originally? Looks like one hell of a find.

I got it for ten bucks at a local flea market a few months back. I think it was in November, the full story should be in the finds thread for that month. The PAL/NTSC converter is a nice idea, but I'd much rather buy new computer parts. :p

Also, someone submitted the auction to Gamesniped. o_o Wow.

$10??? Jeebus O_O

I'd love one of those, but it's way beyond my budget forever!

... I offered FIVE BUCKS, the seller didn't budge, so I gave him ten. :p

Wow. I don't think I'd be poker-face enough to get away with that! Guess it's luck more than anything - most people at carboots/markets etc I've been to seemed to know what their stuff was worth. Meh.

(Just to clarify, I mean the $250 + is beyond my budget. Not the $10 :) )

These are the same people that want $15 for Super Mario + Duck Hunt. I got lucky. :p

damn, I would of loved to have purchased it outright from you..

Edit:

but having the money might be a whole new situation at this point.

You realize that Nicola is a regular DP user right? On top of the fact that he regularly looks at ebay insanity (and still occasionally posts in the stickied thread on the top of the forum) and that he's got a crazy number of search strings that run daily on ebay for his own collecting habits and for Gamesniped. There was no way that a dev system wasn't going to come up in his searches.

Good luck with your sale.

Nope, I didn't know a DP regular ran the site. I only stumbled upon it a couple of days ago, after the GTA game signed by Jack Thompson auction showed up at Kotaku. :)

Thanks for the well wishes. I hope this thing gets a BIN so I can fix my house's roof, too. :p

Damn. And I thought I got lucky at a local flea market when I purchased a first generation Panasonic 3DO system with pack in game for $1.00. That was one of my greatest finds but yours is just as awesom, if not more so. Good luck on your auction kid.
