I'd like to think that I know my DC stuff, but I've never heard of this either as a commercial demo or homebrew...

ParaPara Paradise came out on PS2 (I believe), this is a mystery indeed: especially since Parapara is kinda old now!

^_^

And for those who don't know what Parapara is:

I think its a pirate because of the way the cd looks. That would be very easy to make using a cd labeler and would take more time on the production line.

I can't find them now, but I can SWEAR I've seen 3rd Party Para Para controllers on Lik-Sand or Lan-Kwei or something like that.

How can the disc be compatible with both NTSC AND PAL? :?

Queen: ParaPara is wierd in this way - I think it and only one other were the only Japanese titles that will play on US/Japan systems (I dunno if it plays on Europe systems or if that's a mistake).

But, yeah, ParaPara was definitely a Dreamcast release, Japan only, but plays on US systems, as noted.

Well, any official Sega (I.E. not copied) DC title would be region locked - there are no multiregion games; of that I'm 100% sure...

ParaparaDream didn't come out here (in Japan) as an official Sega release, so it must be a bizarre cash-in bootleg...

From what I've heard, it's a hong kong release, which would explain the crazy region coding. The controller is also colored differently from the official PS2 version. Unfortunatly, I've never got the chance to play this version though....
