In accordance with the rules against thread crapping and sale spoiling, I would like instead to make an offer based on my approximation of the monitary worth of the item.

I will offer you $249 shipped for it.

$249 shipped isn't necessarily a fair price, as it's reasonable to assume that the system is going to cost $265 or more after taxes for the original purchaser. Add to that a modest estimate of $15 for shipping/handling and you're looking at $280 for a low dollar without profit for the seller. Think about it...

(Edited because I put $290 instead of $280 originally because I fail at math.)

I agree Carey. I would stand to make a little more than 60 bucks off the deal. People on a regular basis will find an old classic at goodwill for 5 bucks and flip it here and make 80-100 profit. Thats how america works. Capitalism, supply, demand. If people are mad at the Wii situation, write to Nintendo. I'm glad you can see it too Carey.\\^_^/

I can see it, I didn't say I had an opinion on the matter. I do know that I paid $325 for a Wii off of a speculator last april for the simple fact that I'd already wasted a tank of gas and hours of free time looking for one from store to store, so it ultimately comes down to a matter of what an item is worth to a person.

Well, I found a great way to explain without words why the Wii is worth more than 250.00. This should help those that always try to thread crap.
