Ok, so I've been using that "JROK" adaptor for my Genesis, to get Component video from it's RGB port, but I've noticed that the color saturation is FAR too high.

I connected the RGB pins directly to the JROK adaptor. Was I supposed to have something in between the RGB lines? I adjusted the POTs, but it only either makes it darker or brighter, but doesn't affect color saturation.

This is the adapter: http://www.jrok.com/hardware/RGBv4/index.html

And this is the result.

It just seems so much more saturated than via an emulator or by the Genny's NTSC output. When I tone down the saturation, then regular TV and HDTV is very un-saturated.

EDIT: Web host bombed.. Fixed URL to a different server.

something just aint right for some reason. perhaps the color signals are too powered and need some resistance. Just a thought since ive never tried using a converter like that.
