I finally got around to another on my long list of game projects and that was to put the Solar Wars, ROM onto a cartridge to play on my NES. The ROM has been around for a while but as far as I know there was never an official cartridge release so other copies floating around were done by individuals like me who wanted it for their own collection. Homebrew cartridges aren't as easily made as they are for other systems since they require an appropriate donor due to a wide variety of mapper chips.

Anyway I had enough parts for a second copy and went ahead and did it. If anybody wants to make a trade offer let me know. This might be of interest to you guys going for a complete NES collection. I'm looking for 8-bit atari cartridges, TG-16, and JAMMA boards. Maybe even a used GBA. If you are interested in making a cash offer, just keep in mind it took about 2 hours of my time to make, and the Flash EEPROMS I used aren't exactly cheap either. It looks rather good, and I can send a photo to anyone who is interested. The case had to be cut to allow for the EEPROMS to extend beyond the normal boundry. It plays fine in my top loader, and I have no problems with it. You *may* however have a clearance problem with the metal bar on a toaster, I haven't tried it, but I read somewhere that it may need to be removed.

If interested PM me with offers or else post here.

I have no need/desire for PAL games. As for a cash offer, the cost of supplies (cart, memory, sockets, etc.) was around $30, so any cash offer needs to cover that plus at least partially account for my time (~2 hours). I'd prefer a trade and would be flexible in that case, but will accept cash if it is high enough to make it worth my while.
