Although it seems strange (to me, at least) that nobody nominated a Phoenix Wright game this year after all the hoopla about the first one.

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations was in fact nominated. It was nominated late in the thread, which resulted in it being left off. There were a few titles with a single nomination made earlier, which is how I determined what to include if there weren't enough spots.
