Yu-Gi-OH ! PS2 question

I just got the newest one on the PS2 for my son as an Easter present. I read in one spot only, that for 2 players it requires 2 memory cards?? If anyone here has it can you confirm if this is true, am I going to need another memory card for us both to play? It seems kind of strange.

If yu mean the PS1 Yi Gi Oh game, yes it seems to require a mem card for each player.

Virtua Fighter 4 is the same way if both players want to use a customized character.

Its actually the one for the PS2, I looked at it, its name is Duelists of the Roses. On the back it says nothing about needing 2 cards. Well if the one for the PS1 required 2 as well, I guess its probably a good chance this one does.

Oh well, I know one little boy who will be happy on Easter Morning. I went out and bought the extra mem card just in case. I haven't opened it though.......... just in case lol.

you need 2 different memory cards to play multiplayer. and actually it doesnt work very well because you can see what to other persons cards are. The single player is kind of cool
