DDR MAX PS2 Alert

Grabbed it at target today for $30.00 (Sticker price, not shelf price)

This game is going for $35-$45 on Ebay still, and looks like it could be rare, nevermind that fact that it's a dance game and probly one of the last Bemani dance games the states will see for a LONG time :)

Got it not long ago, quite good game. Has lots of songs, though as usual the best ones from the Japanese versions are missing. (I want Butterfly! *sniff*)

Oh, and what's a Bemani dance game? *ducks*

My local EB got ONE copy of DDR Max in for the PS2 and right when I got the money to buy it, someone just took it from the shelf.

They had better get another copy of it in soon. Is it basically just a combo of other DDR games?

It's more of a combination of Max for the Japanese PS2 along with a few old (mainly 5th mix) and all-new exclusive songs. Having played all of the home verions aside from Max JP, I'd say it's easily the best release, either stateside or overseas. :D

I'll agree with Dahne on one point, the recent DDR releases have had a severe deficiency of JPop-ish stuff. I miss things like:
Dam Dariam
Butterfly
Hero
Boys
If You Were Here
Baby Balloon
,,,and the like
