high score save kit installation

Has anyone installed a high score save kit? Im trying to put one in my DK arcade but am having some difficulties. I cant get the card to go down all the way into the board. I think the card is hitting a compacitor and it will not let it go down far enough. What can be done about this? Any help would be great

I will get a pic up tomorrow. Im sure im just doing something wrong. I cant find anything where someone else had this problem.

I think the two things circled in red are holding the card off from going down all the way. If anyone has any advice let me know.

What do you mean get a socket to put in between? I dont know to much about this stuff.

I got the kit from Mike's Arcade. Im going to call them today about it.

I figured out the problem. I was putting it in the wrong place. Turns out it has to be soldered in.

I have the SAME exact issue with my 4 board PCB. My chip is soldered too. Trying to find someone who can unsolder my chip.

Mikes arcade said they would do it for me. I just have to ship them my board. Not sure if i am going to do that yet or not.
