Con on the Cob [Archive] - Retrogaming Roundtable

Anyone ever hear of this? I was asking my friends if they knew of any good gaming conventions etc that were closer to where I am from. One of them said "Con on the Cob". Looks like a mix of anime, art, fantasy, and all types of gaming. Has anyone been to any of the previous ones?

Also one coming up in Feb is called A&G 2008 in Akron, OH. This one looks like anime but I was told they do have a bit of gaming. Anything on this one?

I attended this the last couple of years. Not much in the way of Video Gaming there, but a lot of fun if you enjoy other types of gaming. I am working very hard to get us a Wii competition this year, but the director is looking to set up some LAN gaming. Anyway if you enjoy conventions where a small group of people work really hard to have fun, this Con is for you. Its all about the people and that is obvious from the atmosphere and people who work so hard. And if you enjoy Dr. Dimento you will love the comedy music festivals.
