You didn't happen to e-mail me awhile back about this did you? There are at least three JVC X'Eye revisions that effect sock output:

RCA + Genesis 2 DIN
RCA only
Genesis 2 DIN only

In helping many people with their JVC X'Eye repair questions over the past few years (especially since writing my USA/JPN mod tutorial and lid pinswitch repair tutorial) I've been sent pictures to confirm these things and have continued to pass along the information. The majority of the JVC X'Eye consoles out there seem to have both.

As someone who has written a few mod tutorials in my day, you may want to go back through your post and make things more concise - and less like an eBay title. LOL

I wasn't thinking.Just wanted to post this particular info for people that happened to have the same model that I once did.Essentially, because nobody else has done it...The world is full of knowledge!...

Isn't the Genny 2 port a 9-pin mini DIN, not an 8-pin?

It's the same connector used on old BUS Mouse adapters.

You are right Evil Dragon!..I wiLL correct that as soon as possible!..For some reason I was thinking on the connector located at the Genesis model 1...I'm so glad that some people can contribute in a positive manner!..

If you perceive attitude, ignore it.

If a pissing match so much as dribbles, I will lock this, and that massive block of text I refuse to read will sink to the bottom fast with the rest of the thread.

Keep it to your topic oooXxXoo. Anything else can go to PM.

I have been looking for this information for years!
My X'eye model was manufactured in March 1994.It does'nt have the Sega 2 Din only RCA plugs.
