Circuit City's Cheap Xbox 360 Games

Does anyone know what other games CC is selling at these kind of prices? None of the games were priced $8.96, but they all rang up at that price. Anyway to figure out what other games are priced this cheap, besides bringing them all up to the register? Also, do they add games every week?
So far(over the last few weeks) I have bought the following games from Circuit City for $8.96:

Read up at Cheap Ass Gamer (http://www.cheapassgamer.com). They have a thread that will answer all your questions.

In short: The $8.96 games are almost completely gone from store shelves. Most were sold out months before they officially hit $8.96 anyway.

Edit: Call of Juarez and Monster Madness are not part of the $8.96 clearance. They were on sale for 1 week (before Christmas) for $7.99. They are back to normal retail price.

They pull some deceptive ass shit. I went to the closest store to me the day that ad came out. The ad said "hundreds of titles!" The only game I saw was Project Sylpheed. I realize they covered their asses with the disclaimer "titles may vary by store", but come on! One title? I asked the EXTREMELY helpful clerk where the hundreds of titles were at. He grunted and pointed and said all the games on sale were on that gray cart over there. Thanks! I took the ad to Wally World and grabbed NHL 07 and Tiger Woods 07. A pure bait and switch if I ever saw one...

Well a CC just opened up by me and they have just about everything. The clerks are real nice because they just started and are not burnt out yet. I just wish they had a price scanning machine so I could see what the real price is.

Almost everything I checked at the register is priced lower than the sticker on the game. One girl that works there was real nice and she grabbed a dozen games to see if she could find a deal. That is how I found Slypheed & Bulletwitch. I have found at least 6 games (Xbox360) priced below $10. That works for me.

The games that reach this price are games they aren't going to restock, and probably haven't restocked for a year or more, which is why when I worked at Circuit City, we would see the CAG crowd out en masse with printed out lists the day the price drops hit (or shortly thereafter). It's like any other clearance: what's left is what's there.

never had any availible. I had the lady check the computer and it would show 2 in stock but no one could find any. This happened almost all circuit city.

It is really a waste of my time.

The only way you can find a sale game in stock at CC is to go before the sale starts and prebuy. Then pricematch after the sale starts. Thank the gods for CAG.

Amen. There are hundreds of titles at 8.96, but most are sold out. That's why they call it a clearance sale. It isn't to have tons of games they'll lose money on, but to clear the remainder of the non-selling games before they lose more money.

I was actually able to pick up a couple of Xbox 360 titles on this sale and a bunch of the psp titles. I guess the local CC doesn't sell games very well?

What I really want to know is how to get a list of what games are on that list. How do you find out what games are on clearance. I looked at CAG but couldn't find a good list of games.

Thanks xtremegamer, that is exactly what I was looking for. I know the CC by me has a lot of those, they just open around Xmas and no one is ever in that store.

Thats a pretty good deal on 360 games. I am going to have to try and pick up Superman Returns and Quake 4. My CC is always dry though so I hope I find them.

Decent games on the list, but I think almost every 360 title is worth at least 9 bucks. The real winners of the list posted above are FarCry, Gun, and Condemned. The losers are Bomberman and Eragon. Everything else that isn't a sports title (not my thing, at all) is worth it, in my book.
