Just saw this auction for the Mega CD version of Lunar Silver Star Story. Don't know if they mistyped the BIN price, but they have it for $0.99 BIN with $5.95 shipping.

I see the same seller posted a second one so I bit as well. They also had a Arc The Lad promo pocketwatch and a Growlanser wristwatch (listed as "Crowlanser") for .99 cents BIN as well. I bit on those as well so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully shipping won't be too bad. Thanks for the heads up!

That is run by our very own Dreamtr so you will receive your items for sure. Buy with obvious confidence.

I wish I could have jumped on some of his deals, but I promised the wife that I wouldn't buy any more stuff for a while.

Wow, what a deal...either way im sure I wouldn't of won, the sheer shock of the price would freeze my clicking finger up untill it said the auction ended..and thus causing me to cry. I need to check ebay more often

I don't actually run the auctions, I just work at the parent company (Shipping Solutions) as the Corporate Buyer...I don't list anything either, so nothing to do with any of the day to day operations.

Shipping rates were a bit high, but when you're pulling in stuff shipped at half (or less) than retail, there's really no room to complain :)

Just got my new copy of Tokobot Plus for ~$10 from there...I'm sure I'll be buying more games from 'em in the future. Thanks for the heads up on this place. :)

DreamTr posted he is just one of their buyers , but I digress.

The confidence in bidding with redfrogusa is
SADLY, NOT TRUE. I did the buy it now. I received an email days after auctions end and paying for The japanese import of Lunar to hear it was a double listing and I WILL NOT BE GETTING IT. Oddly, I also think I had the purchase before the other buyer so If it was a double listing and I made 1st purchase how do I end up without it?

NOTABLE: I have not received any answers to email after days... The seller also was not aware payment was made via paypal. Yes they run many auctions (not an excuse, you run a business to sell things not me I just buy them). However when an error is commited on their part, an effort should be made to go further than (quote from email) " Hey, you bought the second one of these but it was listed by accident. One was already shipped, so don't worry about paying for the other". As I said, I made payment. So I will merely await refund and an email to address this would be proper and necessary. Accidents happen. So to should the courtesies that follow them. Namely a real email not form letter and a REFUND.

Well that just sucks. Were you able to finally get a PayPal refund?

I received the Lunar game (along with my other purchases) today in the mail. The back insert was missing which was not listed in the auction. So that really sucks too. True it was cheap, but you need to list these things in your item description. After this and hearing about your experience, I won't be bothering with this seller anymore.

Ok. I go through the first step of dispute resolution with paypal. I have not recieved any answers to emails for 8 days. I was disappointed, not crazed about it though. I received the 4 other games I ordered asap. Here comes the weird part. I received the Lunar Import today in the mail. I still have the email I received from the seller stating it was a double posted auction and I would in fact not being sent this game. It worked out for me. I am wondering if the other buyer did not get theirs.

Well if Schunth was the other buyer then he did... but were there three auctions?

Mianrctv: Everything there is mostly automated, so the only way you can get a response is to contact them through MY EBAY MESSAGES. Katie handles the customer service, Rob handles the listings on the vintage items. Some of that stuff SHOULD NOT have been listed at those cheap prices, but it's better for the buyer.

Schnuth: If you are unhappy with the purchase, return it to them for a full refund, there's no problem with that, I know the listings need to be described better, more of a time issue with them trying to work on everything else at the warehouse....

Now I almost feel bad for pointing this out since it seems that people are unhappy with the results.

I used regular email, ebay messages and did a contact through paypal. There was a communication snafu on their side for sure. Like I said in the previous post I kept the email that told me they don't have the item to send me and not send payment (payment was already sent though). All this said, I ended up with all items (I won 4 other auctions as well).

It ended out well, it was just a strange path. Thanks DTR for the info though, I figured it had to be automated with so many transactions.
