I just visited the Playstation Store. The demo for Turok is up.
Weird that it's still not up on US XBL, yet...
I'm currently downloading it now, even though I was never a big fan of Turok, I just can't say no to Dinosaurs.
:edit:
Well the download finished and I tried the game out, still not big a fan of Turok. I stopped playing when I had to sneak behind people and knife them, I have COD4 for that.
Did I mention that the knife is the most reliable weapons? I just walked right up to a raptor and killed him, then I killed his wife and children. I didn't know dinosaurs were that big of pussies.
It's like COD4 with dinosaurs and without the fun, I think I'll sit this one out.

Yup. It's very brown and very green. The dino's look really nice, but all the human/soldier characters look very chunky and last-gen.
And while the PS3's cell processors don't seem to be slowed down by ANYTHING going on, that's because it seems like there's not much going on FOR the system to "chug" from. It seems like a first run at next gen software from ...
Touchstone? Strange...Disney just dumped that film division brand...yet they're using it for software?
Anyhoo...there are things about it that are pretty, and other things that seem like next gen physics/filter effects on last-gen textures and poly models.
Exit is right ... the knife seems to be where it's at as far as weapons go ... and if that's all that can be said about an FPS ... well ... this franchise was probably best left un-resurrected.
It's not total drek, but it's exceptionally "average" and well-tread territory.

I deleted it about 5 minutes into it.
Extremely boring.
