Hey guys,

I was going through my Gameboy stuff today and noticed 2 things. The first is a complete Box/Manual/Plastic Case/Flyers, everything but the game cartridge for Final Fantasy Legend 3.

The second is more interesting. I have an FM Radio tuner for the original brick Gameboy made by a company called Beeshu. Basically it plugs into the Gameboy where the cartridge goes and uses the Gameboy's batteries. Everything else is done on the radio itself. The gameboy screen just shows a black bar when there is no game plugged into it. I just tried it out and it had surprisingly good sound.

Do any of these things have any value?

I'm sorry I can't help you with values, but that tuner is just hilarious. I mean, what a totally unnecessary, horribly excessive accessory. Just pure genious... "Let's make a radio, but wait. We can cut costs and charge more if it plugs into a gameboy instead of having its own batteries!"

Hi Guys,

I have some pictures of it I took last night, however I don't think I can upload them. When I tried last night, it is said the pics could only be 19.5 KB. These are much larger than that. If someone can host them for me or tell me a free site (that doesn't have a bunch of hoops to jump through), I will gladly post them. Actually I will see if I can find a site like that now.

I looked on Ebay last night for another one like this, but all I saw were newer looking radios for the Gameboy Advance. I even checked Google and Wikipedia, but still came up with nothing.

Hey Guys,

Here are some pictures of that Gameboy Radio. (Thanks Untamed) Sorry for the low quality. I only have 3.3 Megapixel Camera.

The picture below is what it is like when you are using it with the Gameboy. Notice the wire coming from the left side of the Gameboy. That is where the head phones plug in, instead of the Gameboy's head phone jack.

Here is what it looks like when not being plugged into the Gameboy.
