View Full Version : Unknown/Unreleased games?

hey guys i was trying to track down the names of several NES classics but to no avail. I am starting to think they were never released, but I may be wrong.

the first game i am trying to track down is a futuristic side-scroller where you control a power ranger-esque guy and at the end of each level (or at the final level of the game only, im not sure) you become a large transformer and fight the boss. any ideas?

the second game i am trying to track down is a shooter (viewed from a top down perspective) where you control either a military jeep or tank and fight other military forces (with Beethoven-esque music playing in the background). Any ideas?

Second one sounds like Return Fire, released on the 3DO and PS1. IIRC, you had a tank, jeep, missile launcher, and helicopter, and you had to destroy the enemy's fortifications and capture their flag. Classical music played in the background, but I want to say it was Wagner and 'In the Hall of the Mountain King', perhaps among others....

The second one sounds like Jackal. I remember playing the hell out of that game.

the first one is most likely jetman for the famicom (based off of an older sentai which power rangers is built of as well) there is also a zyuranger sidescrooller for the famicom as well wich is the show that the first season of power rangers was based on.

The first one sounds like the game Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter for Sega Genesis. Is this related to the game Blitzwing256 is talking about?

yo you ppl are geniuses. the first one did turn out to be jetman, and the second one was jackal. thanks a lot guys, it was taking me ages to track these down.
