Anyone know where to download game lists?

I'm writing a video game database program and need to know where I can find excel, csv, or tab seperated text files with all games released for a platform. The more detail, the better... title, model#, media format, etc.

Anyone know of a good source for such game lists? I don't want websites that have the lists available through an interface... I just want all the data in a text file.

go to gamefaqs.com, the still have lists as a text file, maybe that's what you're after?

Are you trying to find lists already in excel format? or just an in general list to make an excel sheet yourself?

hey there.. back in 2005 for JJNova's site called www.Gamecootie.com and the list I made was for the US releases for HuCard, TurboCD, TurboCD2, and Accessories: http://www.gamecootie.com/entry/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=get20. he has other checklist as well all in OpenOffice/Excel formats .
