I bought a few games during the recent $9 Circuit City clearance, but I have not had time to try any of them yet. I am just wondering if people think they are good games of they might drop to below $9 at some point. They are:
Magical Starsign (DS)
Chocobo Tales (DS)
Elite Beat Agents (DS)
Lumines Plus (PS2)
Eye Toy Kinetic (PS2)
I heard Elite Beat Agents was pretty good. I also heard good thing about Lumines, but I read somewhere that the PS2 version was not that good. The Eye Toy game included the actual Eye Toy, which is the main reason I bought it. Can't it be used as a normal webcam? I don't know much about the first two games.

Elite Beat Agents is one of the best DS releases. Lots of fun, even with songs I hate out of context, it's a tap-tap-tapping blasty of a good time.
Lumines Plus is IMO an EXCELLENT console version of the 1st PSP classic, I WISH it had online play, as utlimately I've found while the single player experience is fine on XBLA the online multiplayer is so ridiculously lag-tastic that I've never been able to enjoy a lag-free multiplayer game. The PS2 version offline multiplayer is totally lag free (obviously), and very nice, and the standard game has lots of the great "puzzle mode" levels.
Eye Toy Kenetic is the only Eye Toy release in the US to include the Wide Angle Lens attachment ... which is helpful on all EyeToy games that you'd like to play in a cramped space. The Eye Toy can be used as a web cam on a Windows PC, but you'll need to download a driver file and install in manually.

If that doesn't work, there are several other walkthroughs online. Google away!

I've got both Elite Beat Agents and Lumines Plus. I would definitely recommend Elite Beat Agents if you enjoy music games and haven't played Ouendan. The original Ouendan just feels better though, maybe its the stories or just the freshness, or the not knowing the cheesy songs. I've never been too sure about Lumines Plus, I just don't seem to get the game like other people. And the whole music thing seems really poorly done compared to Rez. The songs don't even mix in to each other. Many people seem to click with the game though so if you're after a falling block puzzler...

I didn't really care for Elite Beat Agents, but I'm not much of a rhythm game fan in the first place. The lackluster soundtrack really hurt it for me, but the wacky characters and stories kept me suffering through the painful gameplay.
What little I've played of Lumines Plus has been pretty positive, though I don't play it very often.
You ought to pick up a few other EyeToy releases out of the el cheapo used bin now that you have the camera (Sega Superstars, Play, Play 2, and AntiGrav!). :)

Chocobo Tales has gotten some mediocre reviews, but I thought it was worth the purchase. Collecting all the gizmos and whatnot in story mode will keep you busy for a while. I mean it's not... you know, the most exciting game out there, but there are some good things about it. The card game isn't bad, and I liked the wall-climbing game.

elite beat agents looks like the only decent game of the bunch...the psp/360 versions of lumines are much better than the half assed ps2 version....did they have any other games on sale other than those?
