good deal or should i wait?

ok, i've been collecting for around 6 years. however over the past few years i have been trying very hard to find a decent deal on the following consoles: 3DO, atari jaguar, and a sega cdx.
The sega cdx usually sells for well over $100 on ebay.

Anyway, i have an opportunity now to grab a 3DO, Jag, and a CDX for a total of about $160 shipped with no games, just systems, cords, and controllers.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

I'd jump on that in a heart beat, I havn't even been able to find a CDX alone for much less than $125

i actually when ahead and ordered the sega cdx system and the 3DO. I decided to wait on the jag. He said it was "boxed" so he's asking a little more for it. The store i was ordering from originally had the jag listed @ $35 but he wanted $60 since its boxed.

So anyway, i'm getting the sega cdx system and the 3d0 plus i decided to order a couple games (he only had really common somewhat crappy titles). i think i ordered sewershark, prize fighter, and shockwave.

anyway, with the games and shipping i'm still looking at about $150. Not bad but gosh, everytime i spend money like that it just about makes me sick. (i've always been tight and videogame collecting has always been my temptress when it comes to money.)

i figure i might as well get the cdx because it'll be a long time before i find another one for that price.

Nice find, personally I totally would of spent the extra money on the Jag in the original box ::drool:: lol, but nice find none the less!

Obviously, you missed my for sale thread back before Christmas where I sold a boxed, super condition CDX for around $70 plus shipping.

As a collector myself,all I can say is that you made the right choices.I have the Atari Jaguar with the CD attachment and a whole bunch of games for it,but in my opinion,my 3DO and CDX are much better.

oh trust me, i want the jag, but i know i can find one a little cheaper. I have been searching for a 3DO and a CDX for years. its funny because i still feel so gittery right now that i finally am getting those consoles. My wife thinks it hilarious.

yup i'm gettin excited. i got the email after work saying he tested everything and shipped every thing today. ended up being 3DO and Sega CDX plus 3 games shipped for $148

That is a nice pick up. I really would not mind finding a CDX for a good price. (Already had the Jag in original box sold it awhile back for $70) Definatly a good pick up though.
