I agree let's move away from flaming him at on to an actual discussion about the game again. Maybe if we just leave him alone and give him some time he'll lighten up and be more open to share it.

If the goal of certian individuals was to provoke the original poster into taking actions that would get him banned (which seems to be the case)...that has been achieved.

There was no reason to "provoke him into taking actions that would get him banned". We could have simply banned him when he first rolled into town on the troll bus.

If that's the case, then you should have done so. It erodes the credibility of the moderators to allow trolls to stick around solely for the purpose of provoking them to take actions that result in their inevitable banning. It might be fun, but it's juvenile...and those actions being taken by moderators erodes the credibility of DP overall. I've posted on lots of forums and I can't think of another one that allows its mods to do this sort of thing.

Now before this thread ends up like all those on AA, I suggest that WE as the community move on from the egging. It does none of us any good.

I left this open in the vain hope that some chatter about the game would come back up like vintagegamecrazy tried to restart. I thank him for putting forth that effort. I had no desire to let people toss more gas onto this fire.
