I recently picked up Tron 2.0 for the GBA. As so-called "mini games," it includes Discs of Tron and the original Tron arcade game. Does anyone know if the Xbox version of the game includes these classics? If so, I may have to pick it up.

Tron 2.0 was on the GBA? Color me shocked....

They are not on the Xbox or PC versions.

This site has a Tron 2.0 FAQ with a lot of good info - http://tronfaq.blogspot.com/

The arcade version of TRON is currently downloadable on XBLA, and it's not that bad (except for extremely out of tune/wonky midi audio) ... and I've heard that DISCS OF TRON will be following in the near future.

Those classic games are on the GBA version, not the Xbox version.

The Xbox version has some funky screen tearing issues (needs more triple buffering/vsync), which kind of killed it for me. The PC version is absolutely sextacular and worthy of at least one repeat playthrough just to fuck around with some of the different weapons. Plus, the dynamic soundtrack is tits.

It's a shame the planned soundtrack cd (which was fully completed) never got released. :(

Indeed. I have both versions, and the Single Player experience on the PC is far superior to that on the Xbox. The graphics look better, there aren't as many bugs, and the Xbox version had some elements removed in order to cram it into 64MB of memory.

And only the GBA version has the classic arcade games emulated, like the others have said. Otherwise, use MAME or download the games off XBLA.

You've managed to draw my interest with this statement. If you haven't guessed: I'm the guy who created the http://tronfaq.blogspot.com/ site. (Hi Nik! :) )

How do you know that a soundtrack was completed, but not released? Got some connections inside Disney or Monolith? I've never heard of this before.

If that's true, then Disney was really stupid not to. A lot of people I know keep asking about it. I had to create a soundtrack CD myself, but would have gladly bought one if it had been made available.
