...but its has nothing to do with Leisure Suit Larry himself. I read he will make a cameo appearance though. Idk why Sierra/Vivendi include the name "Leisure Suit Larry" in the game's title when you don't play as him.
What I want to see is a TRUE sequel to LSL 7: Love For Sail but they don't associate with Al Lowe or even ask him for ideas, so I doubt it's going to happen. Just google LSL: Box Office Box and read up on it yourself.

The last LSL game had so, so many problems. I'd rather just have a real LSL game against instead of the thing with all the bad mini-games.

Can read up on the game at http://www.leisuresuitlarry.com. It seems to be a sequel to LSL: MCL.

I couldn't disagree with that more. There are a hundred franchises worse, or more. James Pond? Hydlide? The classic PC LSL games are funny, and good classic Sierra puzzle-solving action. Many fond memories.

LSL 1 - 7 are one of the best graphic adventure games out there imo and in many other people's opinion. The new one is ehhh...not as good as the old ones lets say.

You have no idea what you're talking about.
Magna Cum Laude? Sucks.
But the original? PURE FREAKIN' GENIUS.

The last LSL did suck but my mom of all people played the originals religiously. Did you see that Team 17 would be working on it? It's possible that it won't suck then. There's been very few Team 17 games that I have hated over the years.

I like the originals, and I like MCL too. It's an unabashedely (i'm sure i'm spelling that wrong) sexual game, it's like playing a frat movie. Very few games are willing to do the kind of shit that game did, and it's still pretty damn tame compared to a lot of movies. If games are ever going to be not automatically considered to be for children, games like that need to exist too. Plus a lot of the minigames were classic-game inspired. It's a flawed game, yes, and it's very unfortunate that Al Lowe wasn't involved, but all in all it's a fairly unique game and at least worth a playthrough.
I'm all for another one, as long as they can keep it funny.

I thought LSL : MCL was actuall pretty fun/funny in an Animal House meets console point-and-click kind of way.
Sure, the writing wasn't Tim Schafer quality or anything, but I found myself amused enough to finish the whole game once.
Also ... kind of shocked it didn't make any headlines considering it has more ACTUAL nudity and sex than any Grand Theft Auto game on the PS2 or XBOX.

I've played through LSL: MCL and I like it as well. However, I was hoping the sequel to be a continuation from LSL 7 and not about Larry Laffer's nephew. IMO, they should have put the title for the game "Larry Lovage: MCL" but I guess it didn't sound catchy enough. LOL
