I remember seeing that game in EGM. I don't know if it was a full Fact File or just a little blurb in the Next Wave section, but it was odd enough that I remember it even today.

There's a writeup on the game on SNES Central:

Blurb in Next Wave IIRC and for sure, it was reviewed. It got like straight 5's, maybe a 6 or two. It didn't look like it was anything special, but nonetheless as a platform junkie I wish it came out.

Wow, I forgot about this... I played it at a summer CES in Chicago many years ago.

No one has fessed up to having a rom yet, but from what I hear it's no big loss. The game was pretty average with the only interesting part being the bosses were all Republican figures (which I'm sure would have gone over really well at the time). Then again, when you have an average game, sometimes controversy can sell it. :)
Personally I'm still waiting for a Checkers the Dog game :P

I think DreamTR has a prototype of the game, but don't quote me on that!

And the object of the game is for Socks to sneak into the brothels of Washington DC where all the congressmen hang out, steal all their cocaine and heroin and bring it back to the CIA for redistribution in urban neighborhoods. The final boss is Ron Paul, he can teleport and shoot three-way fireballs.
The final boss is Ron Paul.
I would lose on purpose. :)

This does look interesting, it would be nice if a ROM could be found/dumped.

You got that right!

I do have a proto of it. The game is actually very fun. I've had it for a couple of years I think by now.

Was it developed in-house at Kaneko, or did they get another dev to make the game?

I have never heard of a more political than this. Perfect for election time!
