View Full Version : PS2/Xbox games worth selling
Hi again everyone. I ask this because I recently took on another job, and one of the cities I have to hit every week has a pawn shop with loads of PS2/Xbox games for $5. And quite a few of them are sealed. So I wanted to ask you guys what I need to keep my eyes peeled for. Any games that I can sell on Ebay for say $30 or more for on regular basis (no hit or misses.) I really have no idea; I go into thrifts, Goodwills, and pawns looking for NES/SNES. All I really know is Marvel vs. Capcom 2. So any other suggestions would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

You could do a completed listings search on ebay and only show games ending for $30+ That would probably be the easiest way to find out. Off the top of my head though..
Digital Devil Saga 1 and Nocturne: $50-$100
Disgaea: still sells for $30 new on Atlus.com, but people still buy it for $40. weird
Baldur's Gate II: $40
Actually, that's all I got. I think the Fatal Frames go for $$$ as well, but I'm not positive. As you can probably tell, I mainly buy and sell rpgs.
Thanks for your input. Yeah, I use completed listings all the time on ebay, but there are so many PS2/Xbox games that I would have to go through. Any games off the top of the head would be appreciated. I'll definitely write those games down and check to see if they have those. Anyone else know of any other games?

Futurama comes to mind.
Wow, just checked out Futurama on ebay. See, I would have had no idea about that game and probably passed that up today. Thanks :)

WOW! I had no idea that Futurama had increased in value so much this year!
One of my favorite XBOX platformers (not that there were many great ones to choose from). Faithful to the show, written by the show's writers, and pretty damned challenging all the way through.
I haven't tried it out on my 360 ... I wonder how well it runs on the backwards compatibility.

Futurama is kinda rare for ntsc ps2 game. I picked up a copy for 41 bucks last year, that was new and sealed. One of my better snags on ebay.

I have Futurama for the PS2, but I bought mine on launch day. (I'm *that* kind of series fan.) And it will never ever ever leave my collection. The fact that it's skyrocketing in value is incredibly interesting though.

was the game any good?...as if I need to ask...
It was ok, not stellar but certainly playable and quite amusing in times...
