This is kind of a weird request, but do you folks remember that green all-in-one unit by Senario that was only sold in Walmart around 2005/2006? It was a 17-in-1 with a bunch of JungleTac games on it. It was one of those Vs.Maxx units.

Anyway, I was recently organizing part of my collection when I realized I couldn't find the packaging this came in. I searched and found a package I believed was the right one due to the shape of the bubble shell pack where the controller sat in it. Strangely, it said 25-in-1 on it.

I never owned the 25-in-1 version! Also, I think the 25-in-1 was grey or black.

So, I've got one PnP with no packaging, and one packaging with no PnP. It's a mystery, as I don't recall getting the 17-in-1 in the wrong packaging or anything.

Anyway, the point of this thread was I am hoping someone can post a pic of the packaging for the 17-in-1, and maybe a pic of the 25-in-1. I never lose packaging or games, so this is pretty weird to me, since I don't own a lot of PnPs and I'm unlikely to misplace such things.

I searched all around Google, and it's as if this unit never existed. I found only references in the PnP thread here on DP, and another reference in a text file list of PnPs on AtariAge. That's about it.

Hope you can help! Thanks ahead of time. :-)

Sorry, no. *REAL* men bought the 50-in-1 model.

Your post did make me break out my Vs Maxx and play it for the first time in a long time. I still think a few of the games on it are pretty cool. Solaria and Challenge 1000 are both a lot of fun.

No, no, no. Real men bought them ALL.

I know one of you is dying to get me that pic.

Come on, I don't want to see this thread keep popping up at the top any more than you guys do! Lolz.

If the Senario 25-in-1 you seek is the purple and black model, then I could snap a photo of that for you if you'd like. Otherwise, I don't own anything else.

The one jetpack artillery game on it is pretty cool (forget the exact title), but then I read up on it and found out it was a knockoff of a Famicom game, haha.

Thanks, Gapporin, that would be cool. I'd like to see the packaging to, so I can see if it's the same as the empty one I have. I guess all I'd need after that is for someone to post a pic of the 17-in-1 box.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, I threw the packaging away when I bought it, heh. But FWIW, I remember that it came in one of those annoying plastic blister packs -- you know, the kind that you have to use scissors to open and then you end up cutting your own fingers because the plastic's so sharp...pretty much comes standard on any electronic item nowadays.

Anyways, the cover was blue, and it had screenshots of the various games around the console itself. On the back, there were more screenshots, and (I think) a full listing of all the games included on the console. There were instructions included as well. It did not come in a box, just the plastic. Here's a shot of the console itself:

Thanks, Gapporin. That sounds like the 25 in one package I have. That 25-in 1 looks eerily familiar....maybe I did own one. I dunno.

I found my 25-in-1! It was behind some picture frames in the cabinet housing the family TV. It was pretty hidden. Man, I feel a lot better knowing I did actually own one of these. At least now I don't think I had some freak rarity that came in the wrong packaging with no way to prove it. Now, I just want to know where my 17-in-1 packaging went. It's a shame too, because it seems that one is much rarer. I never throw packaging out, so it's a mystery as to what happened to it.

Thanks for the help, everyone. Just for the record, did the 17-in-1 packaging look pretty much identical to the 25-in-1?

Sorry for the crappy image quality, but I only have a phone cam at the moment.

This package is still sealed. I bought it at the same time I bought another PnP at a thrift store. I opened the other unit and the games were terrible and I never got around to opening the 17-in-1. But now I'm trying to clean up around here and came across it again. Is it worth keeping?

Thanks, Stinkbug! You rock!

Image quality is perfect. No problem.

It it worth keeping? Well, if you have the 50-in-1 or the 25-in-one, they have pretty much the same games on them. A couple might be different. If you decide to give it up, I'll gladly buy it off you since I'm missing my packaging.
