US/Europe/Japan Game Gear compatibility?

Hey kids!

Quick question: Will all Game Gear carts work on all Game Gears ala Atari Lynx? Or will only US games work on US systems and European games only work on European systems and only Japanese blah blah blah?

All games should be fully compatible across all systems. I believe the exception is the Majesco GameGear, where the TV tuner doesn't work with it.

I remember talking to some dude one time about Neo Pocket carts and he wanted to know if a USA Neo Pocket game would work on his PAL system...

He didn't understand that handhelds aren't PAL.

I've gotten both European and Japanese gamegear games for my gamegear and they've all worked. In fact, I highly recommend it. For all handheld systems.
