Sure, it's a lot like Desktop Tower Defense but man, what an addictive game. Any fan of strategy games, or even just quality games, needs to download it immediately. It's $7.99 (down from $9.99) through the rest of the week.

The fact it can be played two player co-op puts it over the top. The fact that you can't play online co-op knocks it down a peg.

I love (love) Rez, but let's face it, it's a remake. PSN is nuking XBLA in terms of compelling original content.

I'm one of the few who had never really played a "tower defense" game in the contemporary sense, and I'm really enjoying PixelJunk Monsters as well.

It's also one of the few games that can be played remotely (smoothly) on the PSP and is actually ADVERTISED as such!

I don't know that I'd go that far just yet, but they're certainly getting there.

Pixeljunk Monsters is fantastic and the difficult ramps up pretty quick, constantly keeping you on your toes. I just beat the easy path and got the speed boost, so that should help out a bit.

Co-op play is great. My wife and I have put quite a few hours into it already. The extra available manpower really gives you a significant advantage if you can coordinate strategies as a team.

I wish Sony would post demos when they release a new PSN game.. I've been hearing alot of good things about PJM.

I just don't like to plunk down the money unless I know, for sure, I'll enjoy it.

Maybe I just suffer from rampant consumerism but at $7.99, what have you really got to lose?

love love love this game! I beat it a few days ago so I havent played it since (kinda short) but its all I played the first couple of days I had it. Its extremely hard sometimes and just adds to its addictive nature. If I play a level for an hour and fail on the final boss I never got frustraed, I would just keep tryinguntil I learned from my mistakes and finaly beat it. I have 8 rainbows (perfects, no life lost) and do not plan on going for anymore perfects, just possibly for 2 more to beat the only stage I have not played (hard special)

There's a demo on the Japanese PSN store, strangely enough. You can grab it if you create a Japanese account (pretty easy to do - just search Google for instructions).

I'm not moving to the next level until I've perfected the stage. Extends replay time!

I've been bedridden all week and I finally splurged, and bought it.

This game is crack.

This game is addictive on a Civilization level. Soooooooooo much replay value here.

Damn fun game.

I'm trying to unlock all the levels I can, first - then go back and try and get perfect. The 'from all sides' level is a total bitch...

PJ Monsters is a great exclusive at a great price ...

... and it more than makes up for PJ Racers, which, as a child of the 80's and fan of retro classic consoles - I liked (but can totally see why it got critically slaughtered).

Play Desktop Tower Defense on the PC (here (http://www.handdrawngames.com/DesktopTD/game.asp)). If you like this you will love PJM.

I meant it..... This is one of those games where you keep telling yourself, "One more level, and I'll stop, for now.."

Yet 3 hours later, you're still playing...

It's very hard to put this game down.
