As you might guess, English of the Dead is a language training game, along the lines of Ubisoft's My French Coach. Using a version of House of the Dead 2 ported to DS (!), the game challenges players to correctly translate words into English from Japanese in order to ward off attacking zombies. Other modes include zombies that speak English out loud, where players must translate what they're saying.
While this exact game probably won't find its way to the States, it would be amazing if Sega were to use the same premise and apply it to other languages.
I hope North America will be getting a form of the game with it using different languages.

Too bad it most likely won't come out here. There are people here that sorely need it. Calm much beef, it would. ;)

That's a pretty high-quality photoshopping job there, what with the reflection off the page. (It is a photoshopping job, right? Of course it is. Right? Right.)
Of course, English of the Dead sounds more like a tutorial for learning Elizabethan tongues, or for those who want to read Beowulf in its original unadapted form.
Anyway, why House of the Dead 2 again ? Hasn't it been dragged around enough already? HOTD3 is already being used as the basis of TOTD2, after all. (And I sure hope we get TOTD2 for the PC.) Heck, I wouldn't even mind seeing HOTD1 again.

Oh my. I didn't catch on that those were all lines from Full Metal Jacket.
...So I guess there is demand for a colorful and instructive guide to learning the meaning and usage of the phrases from that movie? That's slightly understandable, I guess.
