Pink ORIGINAL Game Boy?

I swear... I KNOW I saw it in a magazine back in the day. The original grey GameBoy not in green. Not in black. PINK! With black text! I KNOW I saw the picture somewhere!

Tell me I'm not insane! It wasn't a bootleg either. Possibly something that just never came out? Japan only?

i think that was from the Nintendo Power "Design your own Game Boy" contest...some girl made a "Game Girl" that was published in the magazine. the 3 contest winners got their designs made into real game boys...so if she was a winner (which i'm not sure if she was or not), one might still exist out there.

Wasn't the winner to that the "Bread Boy" that some kid made in his oven? I think I remember seeing this game girl as well, but alas memory tends to fade at my age. ;)
