Hey all!

My GC controller's X button is starting to stick, so I figure it needs a good cleaning.
How exactly do I open it?
None of the little screwdrivers I found laying around the house fit into the screws at all. Will I need something special like a Gamebit? I did buy one to soft-mod my N64 with a couple of years ago, but it is far from the correct type for this controller....

Thanks for your help! :)

You'll need a triwing screwdriver, which you can find rather cheaply on eBay.

Do any hardware stores carry them?

Bits likely yes. Driver, likely not. The screws are too recessed for a bit.

One more thing: how expensive do they get?
They are just a couple of bucks, right?

I got my triwing screwdriver from the Electric Quarter website last year!

I'll give them a try if I can't find any in the wild.
