question about neo geo cd

were all the games made for neo geo cd? are they going to produce anymore new games? i was on a neo geo site and saw they only have metal slug 1 + 2 on the neo geo cd and the metal slug collection has like 6 or 7 games on it

Only around 100 games or so were made for the NeoGeo CD, and there won't be any new, official games released.

There's still homebrew, though. Last Hope was released for the system a bit ago.
