Game Gear TV tuners have an a/v input if I remember correctly, if you get the correct AV cables (1/4 stereo output to R/Y/W AV input?), you can use a Game Gear as a monitor for just about anything with standard AV cables.

For the price of a cheapo portable LCD TV you'd pay less and get a smaller unit.

If I really needed a mini monitor, I'd get one of these ... though, the freaking shipping costs on anything even remotely similar to this one are absolutely out of the question.
