I picked up an Intellivision collection off craigslist this weekend. In the lot was two joystick adapters for the controllers. These units clipped on to the controllers and turned the regular "disk" control pad into a joystick. They work pretty well and i'm surprised there arent more around. Are these really hard to find? Any history on them?

Moving this to "what's it worth" forum.

From what I have heard they are impossible to remove once inserted (if they are the ones I'm thinking of). Not necessarily a bad thing if you like them.

Not really. A few companies offered them. Worth $5-10 for the pair.

I saw a few listed on e-bay brand new in package for $6 plus shipping if I remember correctly.

The ones he's describing were clip-ons, not the kind that had would be glued to the disc with adhesive. If those are anything like the ones I have, they should say "INTV" on the top of the joystick.
