Now this is a fake but I do expect the real PSP2 to be out in 2009 or 2010.
It was discovered that Nvidia won the contract to make the GPU for the next-gen PSP back in early 2006.

That's pretty slick, but it'd be better if the entire front bezel was taken away.

How sweet would that be... Lovin the analog sticks.

Talk about hand cramps. That thing would be hard to hold.
And just think of emulation capabilities of the psp2...

Hmmm ... I wonder if that theoretical screen is touch-sensitive.
In any case that's a very cool mock-up with (most importantly) two analog nubs.

Can't be any harder to hold than the SP.

My hands cramp just looking at that.

I know this one's fake, but look how low the d-pad and the buttons are. That's carpel tunnel waiting to happen with that thing.

It is just a mock up. :)

It's a familiar looking design. Wasn't there supposed to be a Korean company that were supposed to make a handheld that looked similar to that, except white? Or maybe it was the mockups I saw online for the supposed new Apple portable game machine that naturally never materialized.

Not diggin it myself. Screen is even MORE prone to getting scuffed up like that!

I think it is, uh... hypothetically XD, you've got that one button iphone thing going on until you slide up the screen to revel the game controls. But it looks like media usage is handled touch screen.

That is probably the least appealing design for a handheld that I have ever seen. It's big, uncomfortable, screen in an easy to scratch position... is there anything likable about this mockup?

Um ... I'm just curious ... how exactly can you tell that that ... um, concept photo ... is either/both uncomfortable and/or big.
Wouldn't it have to be real, viewable in-person, and/or in your own hands to judge it as any of the above?

Pffft, with your fancy logic and common sense ;)
Seriously though, how the hell would anyone know? Can't be worse than my slim. I got used to it pretty quickly though. Have to mangle up my hands in a similar fashion at work all damn day. Gamers and their frail lilly hands.
It looks like my Sony Net MD disc man with an iphone screen. I am digging it but would be super worried about scratching the screen.
Dual analog Stixxxxxxx FTW!!!1!
I can't wait for the next psp. I have been really diggin the psp. It is a nice compliment/alternative to the DS.
