Is this the 3-DVD box set? I can't read Japanese (neither can Google translator, apparently). If so, I got one from Buyatari here a few months back but haven't checked it out yet.

Wha? I've heard of the old series loosely based on Final Fantasy V, and I've heard of Final Fantasy Unlimited, but this is news to me. Doesn't look very fantasy-oriented, does it?

Alright, now that I've played the demo.....

As expected, this is a homebrewed text adventure (in the vein of those dating sims), starring fan favorite women from the FF series. So far, I've seen Tifa, Yuffie, and Eiko, or at least reasonable lookalikes (for whatever reason, it's not displayingthe kanji or furigana on my computer, just weird symbols, so I can't actually read the in game text). It does not appear to be professionally made, but I suppose if you were a hardcore (and I mean HARDCORE) FF fanboy it MIGHT be worth checking out.

Anyway, that settles the question of what it is. It's not an anime, just some "game" that appears to have been created by rabid square fanatics.

Only what I saw on the page, haven't been able to find anything else out. Apparently, it's pretty terrible, but wouldn't it be fun to have?

I am much more intrigued by the possibility that somewhere, someone might actually be planning a halfway-decent full length Chrono Trigger anime (even though it will probably never happen).
