Atari Lynx II with no sound

I've searched as much as I can stand for a solution to this, but no luck. Basically, my Lynx II has no sound through the speaker or the headphones, but everything else is working fine. It sounds like a blown speaker is pretty common, but the headphone jack should work fine in that case, and mine doesn't. Anyone have a solution (or something to try)? I was kind of hoping it was a pretty common, easy fix like replacing the capacitors is on the Game Gear, but I haven't found anything about it.

it sounds like bad capacitors. you just need to find out which ones. if you cant find anything online about it you can try figuring it out yourself. should not be too hard
