Etch A Sketch Animator 2000

I got a Etch A Sketch Animator 2000 along with 2 games Overdrive and Putt Nuts Golf, from a friend that had it in the back of his closet. The thing is pretty cool, I had the handheld version when I was a lad, but never saw one you actualy draw on, and that had games.
Anyone have any info on this thing?

There was also a Memory Cartridge and another game, Flyby. That's about all I know.

BTW, for anyone interested, note that the "2000" is important, as the regular Etch-A-Sketch Animator doesn't have a cartridge port. I don't think it had any games built in either, but I'm not sure about that.

I had an Etch a Sketch animator as a kid, it was really fun but I think you couldn't save the animations or something frustrating like that.

Is this the same thing you're asking about?

I don't personally know how rare it is but I could have bought this one dirt cheap but passed - I like gizmos but this falls into that gray area like Action Max or Quiz Whiz - not the kind of thing I collect for, personally. Seemed pretty neat though.

But how could you pass it up? It has three real games for it, on cartridge no less. That's a gimmee in my book.

Oh wow, I had one of those...it was so much fun for about three weeks :)

I actually was able to make some decent pictures with it, I definitely remember drawing a good Mickey Mouse, and then having an animation that scrolled the Mickey Mouse Club song...no music mind you.

I don't think mine had the cart port, either that or I never owned the carts, I don't remember...

Boy I'd like to have another go with one of those...

Yeah thats the one,
Its fun, but I for some reason can't stop drawing obscene pictures on it.
I friend of mine gave it to me, hes one of those obs,compulseive types, he had it in a box withe the 2 carts with there books in a ziplock bag with it.
