The game is Fortune Builder, for the ColecoVision.
IIRC, I bought this back around '85 or '86 from Telegames(Texas) and having not dug it out for years, now it looks like a cheap copy. (Good ol' Telegames, and their high prices, but they had a great selection.)
I was thinking about selling it, but not if it's just a cheap copy.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

You might get $15-$20 from a crazy completist.

That amount sounds fine.
The manual is really cheap, just some copies stapled together.

I'm going to test it, and possibly list it for sale tonight.
Thanks.

Well, I bought the Atari 2600 game Space Cavern from a Telegames sale lot (tornado damaged games from their warehouse in Lancaster, TX - bought at Electronic Discount Sales in Arlington, TX many years ago) and you could tell that the box had been reproduced from the original. Another Games By Apollo title I bought there looked like that too. I wasn't aware that Telegames was making cheap knock-offs of games.

I have found 2 more cheap knock-offs, that were bought from Telegames.
Miner 2049er, with a generic B & W label.
Tarzan, also generic label and cheap case.

Back when I bought them, I didn't know the difference. Also, I trusted Telegames as my main source for classic games. The only other source that I knew of was a Mail-Order company called "Video Take Out." Anyone else remember them?

I believe Telegames did in fact license these games from whoever held the rights to the Colecovision library in the late 80s and early 90s. While I agree that the quality of the reproductions were terrible, they are considered "official" for whatever that's worth.
