transferring PSX save to PSP?

Is it possible to transfer a PSX save to the PSP? I am already aroudn 10 hours in FF7 but just got the game to work on my PSP, therefore I'd like to transfer the PSX save to the PSP. Is there any way to do that? How can I do that? I don't want to play the same 10 hours over, if I was forced to do that I'd wait a few months before re-starting, so some of it can remain fresh.

Yup.

You need Action Replay or something similar in order to transfer the save from your MC to your PC. Then there is software that will convert that save to a PSP format. Sorry I can't remember the name offhand - you should be able to find it in Google though!

I have a mac though, not a PC, is it still opssible?

I've downloaded PSX saves off Gamefaqs and converted them for use on my psp. If I remember correctly this is the page I used to learn how to do it:

No clue about the Mac deal though. I don't know if Dexdrives ever had mac support or if there are any programs to convert dex files to the psp for mac.

At the very worst you could run a PC emulator in your Mac to get the job done. But I also don't know a think about Macs, and whether or not Action Replay would work with them or not.
