Last gathering was a blast, everyone had fun. Last time we had a Bomberman tournament, there will be an even better tournament this time and maybe even more than one.

I might come. If I do, I will be holding a tournament similar to the one djbeatmongrel did with Geometry Wars galaxies a few gatherings ago. It will be a different game of course!

I also might have a complete Guitar Hero 3 360 bundle for sale/trade, Vectrex games, 2600 games, and more. I'd trade for Dreamcast and 2600 games I don't have.

I can't wait. I'm already excited and if there is another tournament that was like the one held 2 meetings ago we should definately add the Rubik's Cube Revolution to the game list. :-P

Anyway, I'm broke so I will be bringing stuff to sell, and possibly trade. Anyone interested in a complete 360 Rock Band bundle? I would need to finalize a deal for it beforehand, or else I won't be wasting my time packing it back in that box. I'll also have some NGPC stuff, Vectrex stuff and maybe a couple other 360 games. I will trade for Dreamcast and 2600 stuff.

I'm also going to do some kind of tournament, I'm just not sure yet what it will be. I'm kicking around a few ideas, but need to decide on one.

This just in: Spectral vs Generation for PS2 will be there and will be played. I just received my copy in the mail today from Play-Asia and i will be bringing it for the ULTIMATE 2D BEAT OFF.

Perhaps we could have a minor 2D Shoot-Off? Maybe some Gradius or Darius action as well as a 2D Beat-Off. Also, does anyone see a reason that we would need a Wii or Guitar Hero?

i wont have my copy oh gh3 since i just sent it out to get replaced wit hthe audio fix. if we do shooters i'll bring some vertical ones like teh castle shikigamis, raiden 3 and some other good ones.

If someone else has a taiko drum i will bring the 2 taiko drum games i own, just let me know in advance.

Ultimate 2-D shoot off piques my interest (along w/SvG of course...)

Here is an idear I'm kicking around for a combo of shoot-off and tourney: 4player Gigawing 2.

The rub is not only are you trying to survive to fight the next boss, your goal is to SCORE THE MOST POINTS.

-outlive your cohorts!
-str8 gaffl fools by swooping in on powere ups that don't belong to you!
-did I mention, score the most points?!

This has potential, because being good @ the game doesn't mean you'll win this tourney...this 'ish is MADNESS in 4 plyr mode.

What is your strategy? Wait on everyone else to die? Save all your bomb stocks for a bigger bonus? Nuke everything to go out like a true 'G?!

4 plyrs @ a time, levels 1 and 2 in succession.

Player w/ the highest score after the end of level 2 boss fight and/or all 4 players have expired moves on to the next round.

This game scores into the quin-tillions, so we will need a line judge.

To J: yes, I will bring tap-multi.

To A: yes, rabbit will be in the bldg.

To M: 2600- warlords redux plz.

Another awesome meeting/gathering! Next time we should try Vectorman's Atari tournament, Wataru's Gigawings tourney, or a Mark of the Wolves tournament. Good trades went down, even though I gave up the legendary Minnesota Fats it was worth it. I can't wait for next month! :D
