Hey guys.
So I bought the correct Magic Keys II set from mod-chip.com (I bought the wrong set for my slim PS2 before and felt like a dope), and if you've ordered this before, all you get are the keys and now other documentation at all. It's weird.
So, I go online, and most of the guides I can find are castrated, saying that the full guide is available to customers only. Well, I thought I was a customer, but they didn't give me any info on how to get the full manual.
So, it advertises that I can play imports on my slim ps2, along with all sorts of backups and crap I'm not interested in.
I want to play Dreammix TV World Fighters on my slim (Platinum version SCPH-7701) PS2.
I can't seem to get it to work.
The keys seem to do what they're supposed to do, and the swap magic discs boot properly.
I swap the disc out when the "Load Program" screen comes up, put in the Japanese game (DTVWF), and close the lid.
It says - not a valid PS2 disc.
What?!
This thing can play backups and it's telling me an official disc isn't valid?
I tried the CD and the DVD swap discs.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is? I've been dying to play this game!
